I’m going to carry on as if I haven’t missed NINE MONTHS of weeknotes, and do weeks 70 and 71 together as they were both good.
The week before last (70) was Internet Week 2011. Meaning everyone was allowed to use the internet all week with no penalties, and other time-limited-internet-related jokes. 2010 was its inaugural year in London/Europe, and we took part again this year with a couple of events at Hill's Place.
Last year we held a kind of open spaceship each morning for people to come and say hi and drink tea as we were pretty new...
One of the exercises in the workshop with Matt was to draw the person in front of you and everything around them in three minutes with one continuous line. I did this of Camille, with Margot and Greg to her left and Cheathco to her right.
This is Camille again, drawn just moving my shoulder (harder than you think). Because she's quite nifty with a pen (and probably cheated a bit), her equivalent of me was a lot nicer so I'm using it for this blog.
