straight atta glasgow
I went to a swanky opening last week of a show by the very talented Benedict Radcliffe at Paul Smith Piccadilly. Benedict's was the work I admired a while ago after meeting his some time colleague Mark from Stand.
There was a lot of fun to be had playing with the exhibits. And I don't think I've ever wanted a specific four figure sum so much. To buy this Honda Goldwing.
It was difficult to do justice to Benedict's pieces in photos, and mine certainly don't - the place was rammed, so excuse the funny angles. From the programme I initially thought this was Lucky Bike, with all the room on the extra-long seat.
But it turned out to be this one...
And perhaps the most striking piece was outside. (I think this was Straight Atta Dalston. Which Gemma appreciated, being straight atta Dalston.)
With its own parking ticket.
A double booted VW golf attracted lots of attention. And was fun to sit in.
Sadly (for me) I didn't get to talk to Benedict, but if I had I would have gushed some combination of the words 'beautifulwickedgorgeousamazing.' So it's probably a good thing I didn't. If you see this Benedict, that's what I thought. Lovely, lovely stuff.
(Oh, and I also spied Mr NDG, but I didn't say hello as frankly I'm a little scared by him and his badge taunting. So I thought I'd do it the chicken's way here. Hi Ben.)
A very exciting evening. Worsley and Ted had their work cut out bringing me back down to earth in the morning. There's lots more than I managed to photograph, and it's on 'til 16th February. Worth every minute of your precious time. (And if anyone wants to split the four figures for the Goldwing...)

Hello!
You should have said hello. I took some pictures of the car here, no better, no worse than yours.
